This research aims to find Un Ongia's follower's behaviors, and whether their viewpoints of the belief on social function are different. The research questionnaire is given to 384 samples. The implication from the results are as follows: 1. Most followers usually give contribution to the temple; parents are also the first leader of their children's religion. More volunteers for Un Ongia are expected; "safety, health, and modification of the fortune" are the main reasons why people pray for god. 2. Un Ongia is one of the most important religious beliefs to residents in Donggang. People who have lived in this area over 20 years and whose educational level is lower than junior high school have a rooted belief. 3. Both sex hold the same viewpoints on the effects of religion on the society. However, the involvement of female followers is limited partially because of conventions and customs. The role and need of the married or housewives strengthens their belief. 4. Times of worshiping the god isn't the indication for observing how many followers involve in the religion. 5. Most followers agree on the effects of belief on the social function,but it is not seen in their religions behavior. 6. Age and the level of education influence whether people believe in Un Ongia. The youth and middle-aged receiving education have different explanation for passing the belief down to next generation. Based on the research results, the research could be the reference for the Tung-lung temple in Donggang, community clubs, schools and the future research.
