本文探討罹患胃癌的男性個案，面臨疾病、手術的衝擊、術後自我照顧問題，而最終成功適應的手術全期護理經驗。筆者在照護期間運用Gordon十一項功能性健康評估確認個案有焦慮、潛在危險性傷害和感染、特定知識缺乏等健康問題，針對個案的健康需求提供個別性計劃及措施，協助個案在手術前減輕面對手術及疾病的焦慮，並主動關懷引導個案表達內心感受，運用手術室護理人員之專業知識及技巧，預防個案在手術中造成的潛在危險性傷害和感染，使其安全渡過手術全期，在手術後協助個案順利恢復健康、教導出院後自我照顧及尋求資源的方法，使個案能成功適應恢復原有的生活品質。

This report concerns the perioperative nursing experience of a male patient undergoing surgery for gastric cancer and postoperative self-care. Gordon's 11 functional health patterns was used to assess the patient and determined that the patient was prone to anxiety, had a high risk of injury and infection, and the lack of specific knowledge regarding his condition. The patient was provided with an appropriate nursing care plan and intervention to meet his physical and mental needs, in order to alleviate feelings of anxiety, agitation, and pressure. This was provided for the nurses' professional knowledge and skills in the operating room. This helped the patient undergo the operation in a comfortable environment and led to earlier recovery of his former quality of life.
