本研究的主要目的是針對發展障礙者的健康兒童手足,探討他們在團體手偶劇中所展現的內涵,並透過與家長觀察資料的核對,及與文獻的對話來探索內涵所展現的意義,意即兒童在手偶劇中的內在經驗探索。本研究以五位發展障礙者之健康手足爲研究參與者,其組成是八至十一歲的四位女童與一位男童,採用質性研究的內容分析法進行資料分析。由研究者擔任團體帶領者,分別進行八次共十六小時的手偶劇兒童遊戲團體,過程以錄影方式來蒐集資料並謄寫成逐字稿,邀請兩位協同分析者共同進行分析。研究結果如下: 一、團體手偶劇中,發展障礙者之兒童手足的角色扮演內涵,可分析歸納出人際互動、情緒、生命議題、生理反應及生活情況的內涵,分別呈現在家庭、學校、醫院和想像世界四個場景。 二、障礙者手足透過團體手偶劇所呈現的心理特性,包括人際互動的衝突與困難、頻繁的照顧行爲與較高的責任感、負向情緒的表達、對手足議題敏感,以逃避或攻擊方式處理手足議題等。 本文並提出了此研究之限制及給父母及相關專業人士之建議,綜合而論,研究者發現團體手偶劇的扮演內涵反映了研究參與者的人際互動模式、實際生活經驗、情緒、及可能的心理議題。
The main purpose of the study is to understand the meaning of the content demonstrating in the group puppetry of siblings of developmentally disabled children. Content analysis method was used to analyze the content of the group puppetry. Five participants with four girls and one boy aged from 8 to 11 were included in this study. Eight sessions of two-hour play therapy group using group puppetry was led by the researcher and a group co-leader. The sessions were recorded and transcribed for analysis, and the data analysis was conducted with the assistance of two other data analysts. The findings of this study were compared with the interview data from the participants' parents and the previous related studies for understanding the meanings of this content. The findings are as follows. (1) The contents of group puppetry reflected the interpersonal interaction, emotions, life issues, and life situations of siblings of developmentally disabled children in the four settings of family, school, hospital, and imaginary world. (2) The potential psychological issues and characteristics of the siblings of developmentally disabled children reflecting from the analysis of group puppetry included interpersonal conflicts, frequent care-taking behaviors, expression of their negative emotions, sensitivity of their relationships with their developmentally disabled siblings, and avoidance of dealing with sibling relationship issues. In conclusion, the contents of group puppetry in the play therapy group with the five siblings of developmentally disabled children may reflect their patterns of interpersonal interaction, life experiences, emotions, and potential psychological issues. The limitations of this study and the suggestions for the parents and related professionals were also provided.
