This research is about elderly life experience. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 12 community elderly aged between 54-85. Analysis revealed that the elders have to re-explore their life, re-develope their meaning of life. As people get older, they usually engage in the same activities as earlier in life, but with advancing age, there tends to be an overall decline in participation rate. Variations and individual differences, along with the influence of gender and socioeconomic status, play a big part. Physical ageing does not directly influence and decline the quality of life. By improving the elders’ positive perspectives on life, they will be able to adapt themselves well to new environments of life in later life.
