摘 要 本研究係以2000~2008 年443 家台灣上市櫃公司資料，分析台商於 決定是否赴中國大陸投資及選擇投資地區、投資金額與投資家數等相關 投資決策時之決定因素並計算不同選擇決策到大陸投資的機率。研究結 果顯示，台灣上市櫃公司於制訂相關赴中國大陸之投資決策時，較著重 個體因素及產業因素，而總體因素僅有相對工資會對公司是否要投資中 國東部地區造成影響。另外，公司資本額除了在決定投資金額時有顯著 正向影響之外，其對其他投資決策均為顯著的負向影響。而當投資區域 越往西部時，台灣上市櫃公司之投資機率越小，且多數解釋變數對投資 機率之邊際影響亦是越往西部影響程度越小。
Abstract This research contains the data of 443 listed and over-the-counter (OTC) companies in Taiwan between 2000 and 2008, analyzing whether or not Taiwan-funded enterprises will invest in Mailand China and decisive factors in relevant investment decision making such as choices of investment areas, the amount to invest, and the number of invested subsidiaries; it also calculates the odds of Taiwan-funded enterprises investing in China under different choices in decision making. The results show that Taiwan listed and OTC companies put more emphasis on the individual factors and the industry factors when determining relevant investment decision making in heading for China, while in macroeconomic variables only relative wages have impact on decisions to invest in Eastern China. Moreover, company capital has significantly positive effect on decision making of the amount of investment yet significantly negative effect on other investment decision making. When the target location of investment moves more westwards, the less likely Taiwan-funded enterprises are going to invest, and for the marginal effect of most independent variables for investment odds, it also demonstrates to be of lesser influence the more westwards.
