本研究從臺灣的背景中探究學校領導的最佳實踐，為質性的個案研究，蒐集資料的方法包括訪談、參與觀察及文件資料，選擇臺灣北部地區優雅國民小學（化名）為研究對象，該校榮獲地方政府教育局優質學校、InnoSchool創新學校經營、GreaTeach卓越教學等獎項。本研究發現該校校長的成功領導作為如下：1. 對教育有獨到的見解，轉化成學校發展願景；2. 提供教師專業發展的機會、打造人性關懷的行政團隊，發展行政及教學人才；3. 以學校組織的再造、圓融與創意的領導及成員參與決策，形塑學校運作模式及永續發展；4. 運用空間領導、分享教育新知與形塑教學團隊，以提升教學品質；5. 善用行銷學校新品牌、家長教育服務中心及引進豐富的外部資源等作法，建立策略聯盟。
