網球運動屬於開放式技術（open skill）的表現，選手要在極短的反應時間（reaction time）內，判斷、決策與動作執行；在具備良好的網球技術前提下，有良好的身體素質更是提昇運動表現不可或缺的。本文分析影響網球運動表現的相關因素，提出訓練的因應策略，希望幫助選手具備網球運動的所需的身心特質、提高選手對環境的適應性、減緩身心疲勞與運動傷害的發生，並期運用科學化的訓練知識來協助選手發揮其最佳狀況，提昇網球運動表現。
