The purpose of this study is to apply an integrated model of school effectiveness, including context, inputs,processes, and outputs, to promote physical education culture in schools. The context focuses on physical education policies, types of education consumers, and backgrounds of schools. The inputs emphasize on teachers’experiences, the resources invested by schools, and the support of parents. The processes focus on the levels of schools and classes. Each level may have different aims. The outputs emphasize on the achievements and the abilities of adjustment for students. On the other hand, physical education culture in school, emphasizing on the uniqueness of the school and also focusing on values and belief of group, is one kind of school cultures. This article, therefore, is trying to explore how to promote physical education culture with an integrated model of school effectiveness. Some suggestions are also provided for relative institutions to promote physical education culture in the future.
