Recently, a number of Taiwan tennis players exhibits outstanding performance in many major international tournaments which attracts numerous public attention. The author as an elite tennis player and a collegiate tennis coach who attempts to provide insight perspectives on the recent advance in tennis competition scoring system,tennis equipments including, tennis racket, tennis ball, tennis court and tennis suit. The implementation of high technology during competition was also reviewed encompassing the past 30 years.
