The ecosystem and living environments of humans are being destroyed with the rapid development of technology. Global warming and climate changes have attracted attention in recent years. Experts believe that the main cause of the greenhouse effect is the increased concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Several countries are currently addressing environmental issues. People blame manufacturers for the production of pollutants. As a member of global trading systems, the electronics industry in Taiwan is often restrained by international environmental law. Innovative and creative products play a vital role in sustainable corporate competition in the manufacturing industry in Taiwan. The reduction of carbon must be considered during periods of new product development to maintain the international competitiveness of Taiwan and avoid economic effects caused by international environmental law during the time of global warming and energy depletion. The methods and steps used in this study are based on product life cycles to analyze the factors that cause environmental effects during all phases of these life cycles. Green design was also one of the principles in the study. The study attempted to find an optimal green small-sized LCM design through reference discussions, expert interviews, and surveys. This study summarized six objectives and 28 evaluation indicators that can be used according to their weighted value in AHP to create a win-win situation between corporate competitiveness and environmental protection.
