This study aims to discuss about the relationships of various styles of street dancers with the perspective concerning both theories and practices. This study points out that there are mainly three styles of street dancers: self style, dancing style and consuming style. They are related and affect each other with dynamic and ambiguous boundaries. With the epistemological study of styles, this study reveals that most existing discussions in sociology tend to emphasize the group characters of styles which are clearly defined and that kind of interpretation which belongs to the external observation. Through an examination of all these complexities with P. Bourdieu's practice theory which includes the individual dynamics, which emphasizes the interaction and relation between two polars mends the breaking of individual and structure, biology and culture. This study also hopes to reveal this issue in a new light.
