This study based on the Empowerment Evaluation theory to analyze the evaluation and feedback system in National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in the United States. Through this research, a fully profile in Evaluation and Feedback System conducted by NOLS training courses were clarified. This research method included cases study, interviews, and content analysis. 10 interviewees from both Taiwan and the States were queried by a self-edited questionnaire. The results indicated: (1) NOLS evaluated the students regularly and irregularly in middle and final term. (2) Ten criteria in Empowerment Evaluation theory were matched with the evaluation and feedback system in NOLS curriculum, which are: Improvement, Community Ownership, Inclusion, Democratic Participation, Social Justice, Community Knowledge, Evidence-based Strategies, Capacity-Building, Organizational Learning, and Accountability.
