有鑑於投資區位會影響台商在大陸投資績效，本研究嘗試為制度環境影響區位選擇提供一個分析框架，以往對區位選擇因素的研究均從降低成本或追求最大利潤的角度出發，本研究將從獲取“合法性”角度分析影響區位選擇的制度因素。本研究之主要研究架構將著重在統計迴歸模型的建立、分析並將提出可能的理論與模型創新，在本文中，將深度分析中國區域制度環境與台商投資區位選擇之因果關係，並研究中國近年主要政策規範對大陸台商投資之影響。實證研究結果表明制度因素是影響台商區位選擇的重要因素，另一方面得出「規制性和規範性制度」環境的完善程度對台商投資有顯著的正面影響。再者，台商選擇投資區位時會參考其他台商的選擇，當台商聚集度比較低時，台商聚集有利於提高合法性並吸引新台商投資，但若是當聚集度過高時，其效果反而適得其反，對於新台商要進入市場形成障礙。台商聚集提高台商在當地經營的合法性並鼓勵新台商進入，但是，當台商過於密集時，由於對有限資源的競爭變得激烈，反而阻礙現有新台商進入之障礙。本研究主要是從制度面去探討「制度環境」影響台商投資區位選擇的可能層面進行探討，對於近五千家大陸台商的未來佈局策略有相當重要之參考，此乃本論文主要貢獻。

According to the inspection system of environmental factors on the impact of direct investment from Taiwan firms, there had two important factors, one is location choice, the other is institutional environment mode. In this research new system theory perspective is used to study the institutional environment effection Taiwan firms choosing investment zone. Furthermore, regulatory system and the degree of the normative institutional environment for Taiwan firms to invest also affect the performance. Our significant empirical results show that institutional factors played important factors affecting the location choice of Taiwan firms. Moreover, Taiwan firms' investment location choice is also influenced by the clustering system. Wherever gathering of Taiwan firms gathered is relatively low, it's a good chance to gather to invest and to enter into China market, whereas, when gathering is too high, it will lead to hindering Taiwan firms' new entry.
