This present study aims to investigate the difference between traditional instruction and interactive media pedagogies in terms of basketball shooting skills of senior high school boy students. The subjects in the experiment are 32 boy students from Changhua County High School. subjects were randomly assigned to two groups, 8-week, two day a week, a total of 16 traditional teaching with interactive multimedia assisted teaching practice, information SPSS for windows 18.0 Statistical Package handling, analysis of descriptive statistics, t-test, the number of repetitions t-test and ANCOVA analysis (ANCOVA), the level of significance set at α = .05. The results show that: 1. the two groups, the performances after instruction are obviously superior to the ones before instruction, which means the two instruction methods are effective to spot single-handed shot. 2. the two groups, there is no significant difference among all types of basketball shooting performances, but the experimental makes a more notable progress in untimed shot than the control group, which means that the interactive media pedagogies are effective to the instruction. Based on the results we gain, we may propose if the interactive media pedagogies are adequately adopted in the learning of sports skills; it is possible to make a promotion to students' learning efficiency.
