「作家全集」是通過對某作家大量的單本作品，與散見在報章雜誌的篇章，甚至其他與作家相關的資料進行整合。使之形成新的文獻類型。這種二次文獻整理的工作，對文獻保存有重大的貢獻。自1960年代起，臺灣陸續出版許多作家全集，近期在家屬的協助，和各文化中心主事者的支持投入，使作家全集的搜集、整理、編譯、出版，有了相當可觀的成績。圖書編輯是一種文獻再造的過程，含有編者的意識與想法。在任何時代編者都可能對蒐集內容進行整飾。臺灣現當代作家全集的型態，各式各樣。編者對「全集」的定義也有所不同，因此造成許多「全集」呈現出不同的樣貌。本文想透過資料的歸納分析，了解臺灣現當代作家全集的型態為何？

The complete works is a collection of all types of published and unpublished works created by a single writer. Such an advanced collection creates a new literature type and makes a great contribution to literature conservation.Complete works were continually published since 1960s in Taiwan; however it has notable performance on collecting, organizing, editing, and publishing of complete works in recent years due to the support from authors' family and important figures in cultural sector.Books editing is the process of re-bibliography involving author's idea and cognition. The editor could re-edit the collected documents in any era. The form of complete works of Taiwanese contemporary authors is varied, and the definition given by different editors is also distinct. These two factors lead to varied types of complete works. The main purpose of this study is to discuss the types of complete works of Taiwanese contemporary authors through the generalization and analysis of collected data.
