本研究主要探討一家傳統石斑魚養殖公司，在家庭式經營的模式下，如何透過對知識管理的導入與應用，來克服公司經營瓶頸與加速研發創新的過程。本文採用單一個案分析的研究方法，來深入瞭解龍佃生物科技這家石斑魚養殖業的龍頭公司，在1985～2012年間，從原本的龍蝦養殖轉而進入石斑魚養殖研發的行列，並跨足化妝品產業的故事。亦即，當公司開始建立一套知識移轉與管理機制時，組織將能逐漸解決人員流動造成知識累積不易的問題，從而加速新產品研發的腳步，使公司能快速發現新市場利基，並帶動組織的成長。

This study is aimed to investigate how a traditional grouper aquaculture company under the family-run business model to applies the knowledge management to overcome the bottleneck, and how to speed the research and innovation process. From 1985 to 2012, Long-Dian morphed from a lobster-raising company into a grouper aquaculture research company and eventually branched into the cosmetics industry. That is, when the company began to establish a mechanism of knowledge transfer and management, the said organization was able to solve high labor turnover problems gradually, hence, the above company was able to deal with the difficulty of knowledge accumulation. Furthermore, the company accelerated the pace of new product development and found a new niche markets rapidly which led to the immense growth of the organization.
