The reuse of school vacant spaces was to promote educational qualities and sustainable management. Thus, the article adopted SWOT analysis and benchmarking to set a planning model suitable for the reuse of school vacant spaces. First, SWOT analysis examined the inner and outer school environments to command school planning strategies. Excellent cases of Ministry of Education were included in the learning database to plan and analysis school types and key success factors as benchmarks of school planning. The article took Ma-Sing elementary school in Changhua County as an example and integrated the opinions of interaction relatives successfully to verify the convenient and useful success model. The article can provide references for the planning of school vacant spaces.
