Herta Müller does not trust the language, but she employs it in an addictive way. For her, there are two realities: 1. Diverse Worlds of languages and cultures present diverse images and awareness. 2. The politicized or prescribed language will not only degrade the human spirit, but also destroy the human nature. After researching both realities deeply, Herta Müller takes her discoveries further and invents her unusual perception.The particularity of Herta Müller's style of writing can especially be found in her collage poems which consisted but of paper scraps. In her poetry, texts and images supplement each other in a different manner. Not only can a dialogue between image and text be produced, the parts of words in the poetry can also be related to their pretexts more or less in an intertextual manner. In addition, there is no doubt that an intertextual correlation between Herta Müller's poems, novels, and essays does really exist. As a matter of fact, the motifs which can be found in the mentioned genres play a leading role together.Firstly, the research aims to analyze Herta Müller's perception of language. Furthermore, the issue will mainly be focused on the interrelationship between images and texts in her poetry and on the intertextuality of her literary motifs. Hence, the pioneering character of Herta Müller's language will be derived.
