行動能力是獨立日常生活功能關鍵要素,能預測生活依賴程度和死亡率,且與跌倒與生活品質關係密切。社區為健康老化主要場域,有適當的評估方法才有較佳的健康促進策略,因此建構與推行中老年行動能力評估是重要議題。50歲後身體機能逐漸退化,目前以65歲為切點,採取不同的身體功能表現檢測方式,無法看出個人從中年到老年的退化歷程,因此建議採取重覆椅子坐站、8英呎繞行、10公尺一般走路速度以及快速走路速度測驗來評估中老年人行動能力,其檢測方法簡單、不需特殊或昂貴器材,且10-15分鐘以內即可測量完畢之優點適合應用於社區大量檢測。
Mobility is a key element to maintain the independent ability for life. That can predict mortality and life dependent, and closely related to fall risk and quality of life. Community is major field to implement healthy ageing. An appropriate assessment method is important in order to produce and effective health promotion strategy. Therefore, the construction and implementation of appropriate mobility assessment method for adults aged 50 plus is urgent issue. Physical functions gradual degrade from 50 years old. However, 65 years as the cut-off point, the different physical function performance detection methods are performed. It does not evaluate a person form middle age to elderly degradation process. We suggested that repeated sit to stand test, time up and go, 10 meter walk test in normal speed and fast speed to assess the mobility for adults aged 50 plus. Those detection methods are simmple, no special or expesive equipment and short testing time, that are suitable for a large evulation in community.
