外籍女性來台後需面對跨文化差異的適應，再加上喪偶及罹患大腸癌所面臨的醫療處置，對其是一大挑戰。本文探討照顧一位罹患大腸癌東南亞籍喪偶女性的護理經驗。護理期間為2012年9月16日至9月25日。利用會談、直接護理及病歷資料查閱方式收集主客觀資料，運用Gordon十一項健康功能評估，分析出個案有疾病知識缺失、焦慮及疼痛的護理問題。筆者藉由專科護理師角色，運用醫護團隊力量，使用傾聽與關懷技巧等護理措施，針對個案東南亞籍身份，利用Google翻譯軟體將大腸癌衛教單張翻譯成其母語，使個案了解疾病的相關知識及接受手術的目的；針對個案學齡期的女兒，利用繪圖及遊戲的方式，採漸進式引導其能接受個案罹病及願意學習照顧個案，減輕個案的心中壓力及焦慮，更增進母女間的感情，並轉介社工提供社會支持及資源，使個案安心接受治療。期望藉此護理經驗之分享，提供護理人員臨床照護之參考。

It is a big challenge for a Southeastern Asian widowed woman with colon cancer to cope with medical treatments under different cultural background and environment. The case report described the nursing experiences of caring a Southeastern Asian widowed woman with colon cancer. From September 16 to 25, 2012, the author worked as the primary care nurse and collected the data via discussion, direct care, and chart-review. Using Gordon 11 Functional Health Pattern assessment, the nursing problems identified included knowledge deficit, anxiety before surgery, and pain after surgery. The nurse used listening and caring to comfort the patient and encourage her to cope with the disease. The colon cancer education brochure was translated into her mother language with the aid of Google translation. For her 12-year-old daughter, we introduced the disease by the methods of drawing and playing game. In addition, the social worker was involved to provide social resources. Patient was able to understand the knowledge about the disease and the purpose of the operation. The patient's daughter was able to learn to take care of her mother, leading to bonding between them. This case report can be a reference for caring foreign patients receiving medical treatment in Taiwan among nursing staff.
