題名：閩客社區懷舊處遇團體不同成效探討：以臺中市社區為例

懷舊團體工作及相關研究在今日老人社會工作中已有相當重要的成果，作者曾於南台灣閩南老人中進行懷舊團體工作，其後進行MMSE量表及憂鬱量表前後測評估比較結果，雖未達顯著性水準，但有明顯進步的情形，經醫學腦波測量前後測結果顯示，參與成員失智情形改善有顯著水準之成效(Huang et al., 2009)。在台灣四大族群中，由於客家族群有所謂硬頸精神或復原韌性，使得客家老人與閩南社區老人在懷舊團體服務成效上有相當大的差異(Hsei & Chang, 2012; Shao,2011; Chong, 1996)。研究目的：本研究之目的係針對客家與閩南兩社區老人進行古早味懷舊團體介入，分別探討兩組成員MMSE智能分數及憂鬱量表前後差異之情形。綜合比較客家與閩南社區老人之復原韌性分數之差異，及比較兩組在懷舊團體介入前後之MMSE智能分數及憂鬱量表差異情形。研究方法：本研究針對台中市參與社區照顧關懷據點之客家老人與閩南社區老人提供服務，其中進行MMSE量表及憂鬱量表前測篩選客家社區老人11位與閩南社區的老人15位，另於團體進行前亦就團體成員測量復原韌性量表分數，其後分別在兩個社區進行懷舊團體介入服務，兩團體成員都在經歷八次單元團體工作後，再進行MMSE量表及憂鬱量表後測評估比較其結果。研究發現：二種測量前後測比較雖有其相當明顯的效果，但未達顯著性水準；另外，從兩組個案復原韌性分析中，無論性別，似乎突顯了閩南與客家族群復原韌性或硬頸精神之差異，其服務則有不同的成效。研究最後進行數項建議。
Reminiscence group work has been an important behavioral treatment for the elderly people with dementia. In the authors' previous study, the electroencephalography (EEG) measurements showed reminiscence group work could be used as a treatment regimen in group work to help dementia sufferers improving cognitive functions and retard depression symptoms (Huang et al., 2009). Many people agreed that Hakka elderly people has more resiliency or hardness of life compared with some other Chinese ethnics (Hsei & Chang, 2012; Shao, 2011; Chong, 1996). Authors regarded a different resilience or hardness as the main socio-cultural context differences between two ethnic groups- Hakka and Hoklo elderly people. Research purposes: Our purposes of this research states as follows: 1. To examine the differences in effectiveness of the treatment between the two ethnic groups after the reminiscence group treatment; 2. To explore that the different resiliency levels of two groups affect the effectiveness of reminiscence work. Research method: Two ethnic groups- Hakka and Hoklo elderly people from two communities in Taichung. 11 elderly people in Hakka community and 15 elderly people in Hoklo community were sampled to join the reminiscence group work with pretest and post test of MMSE and depression scales. The comparison analyses between two groups were conducted Research findings: Higher efficacy of the reminiscence therapy on the Hoklo group compared with the results from the Hakka group in terms of the levels of depression scale. However, the average of MMSE scores for the Hakka clients were significantly greater than the Hoklo clients in the post-treatment. Using same treatment, but different results, may tell us that socio-cultural context makes some differences. The different scores of resilience scale may reveal some of reasons. Finally, suggestions were recommended in the final section.
