The Internet era is an irreversible trend, and the cyberspace information technology plays a more important role in learning. The Internet learning has some advantages, such as convenience, openness, individualization, and interactivity. It not only enable people to learn with getting more information and opportunities but also reform the way people gain knowledge. Because the Internet is popular, convenient, and approachable, the access to knowledge and information is likely to be more close to everyone, which favors the break of traditionally monopolized knowledge. Meanwhile, we can reverse the conventional education with oppression and the hoarded teaching through the Internet’s features like easy dissemination, interactivity, and contact, so that learners may acquire the critique consciousness and participate in reformations of education and society. However, when people benefit from the Internet learning, they must also have crisis awareness and analyze the risks coming behind; then, we can prevent risks and seek profits, and the cyberspace information technology can maximize its contribution for learning. The Internet learning has at least fi ve risks worth noting, including a lack of depth and the capacity of integration due to narrowed learning, overvaluation of the cyberspace information technology and neglect of other essential learning factors, alienation caused by the lack of genuine interaction with people, the Internet addiction affecting learning and life, and injustice and unrighteousness of learning from the digital gap. Educators and relevant persons should find these problems, improve the information literacy, and cultivate students’ capability for thinking profoundly in order to make best use of the Internet learning.
