The purpose of this research was to explore the relationship among work stress, emotional management, leisure coping strategies of elementary school teachers, and to discover the moderating effects of leisure coping strategies on teacher's emotional management and work stress. The subjects of the questionnaires were teacher's in 14 public elementary school of Zuchu District, Taoyuan City. A total of 468 questionnaires were distributed, and 448 were received with a recovery rate of 95.72%. There were 421 effective questionnaires with a valid rate of 89. 5%. The data from this study were analyzed by descriptive statistic, Pearson product-moment correlation and hierarchical regression analysis. The results were as follows: 1. Elementary school teacher's work stress reached middle-low level. And among all, "Work load" scored the highest. 2. Elementary school teacher's emotional management reached middle-high level, and among all, "emotional awareness" scored the highest. 3. Elementary school teacher's leisure coping strategies reached middle-high level, and among all, "leisure mood enhancement" scored the highest. 4. Elementary school teacher's emotional management caused negative influence on teacher's work stress. 5. Under the effects of "emotional awareness", "leisure companionship" have negative influences on work stress. Therefore, elementary schoolteacher's leisure coping strategies might have partial moderating effects on their emotional management and work stress. According to the results and conclusions, some suggestions were raised as references for educational correlated organizations, elementary school teachers, and future researchers.
