The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between the General Curriculum and the goal of General Education in military schools. The goal of General Education depicts military expectations. Through an investigation of seven military schools, the organizational structures and the features of the General Curricula are analyzed. Questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis are employed to investigate the directors, teachers and staff members. This study places an emphasis on finding out the difficulties Military Academies face and aims to better understand the relationship between the General Curriculum and the goal of General Education. Finally, some feedback and suggestions are given by experts: First, positioning the committee of General Curriculum Development. Second, putting together the educational goals of Military Academies and those of General Education. Third, grasping the true meaning of General Education and establish its position in the Military Academies. Fourth, developing distinctive curricula of General Education. Fifth, setting up the mechanism of General Education Evaluation.
