The emergence of electronic storage, retrieval, and dissemination of knowledge has changed how people access, create and share information in digital information world. The 'Google generation', defined as those born after 1993, have different aptitudes, attitudes, expectations, information literacy, and information behaviors and that these will transfer to their use of libraries and information services. Libraries face big challenges in this age. So, librarians should rethink and answer the following questions: What is the essence of library's work? What is the core value of libraries? What is it that libraries cannot survive without libraries? What are the purposes, mission of libraries in digital age? How can library information services meet the information needs of people in the future?
