In the past, the community work has focused on the capacity building of community development associations in Taiwan. However, the upcoming challenges related to ageing population and low birth-rate society created impact to the community development policy. Some counties and cities in Taiwan are planning to integrate community development and community care services through community development organizations. The Cultivation Centres of the integrated mode of community development will not only provide relevant guidance, but also been able to move toward to sustainable integrated service. Research purposes: 1.To understand the contemporary community work and the community care services. 2. To explore the needs of the integration of the community work and community care. 3. The specific findings and suggestions will be proposed. Research method: A secondary data analysis was conducted in the research. The National Survey conducted in year 2013 was utilized as the secondary data. Research findings: An integrated care service has been promoted in the UK and Japan. In terms of service user perspectives, Seamless social and health care services are the main integrated model. As for the services delivery system, how do the services can be properly provided is the main issue that must be explored. In addition, in terms of community organization cultivation, some positive functions have been found in the process of this research.
