Expired sterilized surgical instruments must be repackaged every day, which consumes manpower, time, and resources while re-dishing, re-sterilizing, and re-packing in CSR. This study evaluated the bacterial growth rate of sterilized surgical instrument packing to explore the potential for prolonging the validity period of sterilized instruments. Between April 15, 2015, and June 5, 2015, samples from overdue double-cloth surgical instrument tray packages wrapped in 30-38packs daily, A total of 14 sets of sampling 450 package. in sterile period of limitation maturities of more than 1 day, 2 days, and 14 days and unpacking every day biological bacterial culture. Results revealed no bacterial growth in the 14 groups, suggesting that further validation can be extended up to the 28-day period.
