Prison security guards have high risk of work and heavy responsibilities. In the prison, the security guards are mostly in night shifts and shifts. Except for physical and mental exhaustion, most guards have less contact with their family and friends because of the work and their mood is greatly affected. Work stress can affect work performance, and also affect the physical and mental of personal development, and even affect the normal operation of the organization. Therefore, the work of more higher stress need to reduce stress through leisure activities. This study explores the work stress, leisure participation and leisure constraints of the prison security guards in Yunlin. From January to May 2018, this study conducted a questionnaire survey and purposive sampling by 50 security guards from Yunlin Prison, and used SPSS statistical analysis to conduct descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The study found that the interaction between work stress and leisure constraints had no significant effect on the leisure participation of the prison security guards; however, the leisure constraints had a effect of significant interference between work stress and leisure participation.
