The teaching objects of the "Application of PBL Teaching and Cross-school Curriculum Integration to Proposal Writing - Taking the Inspection on Proposal Competition for Example" were the studies in National Taichung University of Science and Technology. This obligatory course was "Application Articles and Writing," and the curriculum reaching focus was "proposal writing." It is difficult for students to write a proposal from nothing. Therefore, during the instruction of proposal writing, the author intended to guide students to a broad field to exert their imaginations and ideas from the following 4 dimensions, including: 1. Addition of cross-school resource integration and cultural materials: The unit "Urban and Rural Imprints" in Chinese course for freshmen of National Taichung University of Education was used as the basis. 2. From reading to visiting to witness the landscape changes in Taichung: National Taichung University of Science and Technology is adjacent to Liuchuan and Lyuchuan, which have been the focuses of remediation of Taichung City Government in recent years. The remediation has achieved significant results, and they have become important tourist attractions in Taichung. 3. Group participation in the competition of "Desired Utopia Proposal": The author actually applied the PBL teaching and the teaching theory of learning community to classroom operation and held group proposal competition, which not only attracted students' interest in taking part in proposal writing, but also set up a specific objective and direction for group proposal writing. 4. Combination with creative thinking method and actual application: The author used Mind Map to elevate creative thinking energy and enable students to convert unrestrained ideas into creative thinking in proposals. Hopefully, with the instruction of this course, students can learn to find suitable materials for application, combine creativity with teamwork power, efficiently write proposals, and develop teamwork ability and practical ability through their participation in the competition of "Desired Utopia Proposal."
