Objective: To analyze the impact of the difference between the weight and price of the 88 golf driver shafts in 2018 on the driving distance. Method: This study was conducted by the top men's professional golfer (swing speed fast) against the performance of the 88 golf driver shafts in the market. Compare the difference between shaft weight and price on the performance of distance. And the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation analysis was tested. The analysis obtained the following results: (1) The average weight of the shaft was 59.69 g, and its maximum value was 71 g; the minimum value was 29.5 g, which was 41.5 g, about 2.4 times. As for the correlation between the weight of the shaft and the distance of the ball is 0.259 and the significance is 0.015, the two achieve a significant positive correlation, which means that the heavier the distance, the better. (2) The maximum price of the shaft is 120,000 yen; the minimum is 5,600 yen, which is a difference of 114,400 yen, up to 21.4 times. However, the correlation between the shaft price and the driving distance did not reach a significant positive correlation (.153). According to the above, it means that the more expensive the shaft is not farther away from the driving distance. However, it can be seen from the descriptive statistics that the shaft with both light weight and stability can best obtain the advantage of the driving distance, but the disadvantage is that it is expensive.
