This study takes Macao secondary school students as the research object, which investigates the
teacher-student relationships, learning attitudes, and academic achievement of secondary school students
in Macao and understands the influence of teacher-student relationships and learning attitudes on academic
achievement. According to the purpose of this study, this study uses a quantitative research method, the
“Teacher-Student Relationship Scale”, “Learning Attitude Scale”, and “Academic Achievement Scale” as
research tools, and used the snowball sampling method to collect the data of 305 secondary school students
from ten secondary schools in Macao. Using Pearson’s product-difference correlation and stepwise regression
analysis for statistical analysis, the results are as follows: 1. There was a significant positive correlation
between the teacher-student relationship, learning attitude, and academic achievement of Macao secondary
school students (p<0.01); 2. Teacher-student relationship and learning attitude have significant predictive
power on “overall academic achievement”, “cognition”, “affection”, and “skill” (p<0.05), and the explaining
variance is between 56.6% to 67.5%. Finally, according to the results of this study, suggestions are put forward
for the reference of the Macao government, schools, teachers, parents, students, Etc.
