The public obtains event information and participates through cultural and
artistic platforms, but existing platforms need improvement. This study aims to
enhance platform services and provide suggestions for future directions. Based on
the Double Diamond design process framework, the research results are as follows:
1. Service gaps and pain points, including "insufficient activity preferences and
recommendations leading to information overload," "poor grasp of activities leading
to missed opportunities," "insufficient information exchange leading to a lack of
reference," "unclear functions leading to an inability for quick site-wide searches,"
"poor information architecture making it difficult to find what is needed," "unclear
icons and text explanations making recognition difficult." 2. Proposing new features
and design optimizations, including "preferences and recommendations," "tracking
and reminders," "ratings and comments," "site-wide search," "information
architecture," "consistent icons." 3. Among the new features, satisfaction is higher
for "site-wide search," "information architecture," and "preferences and
recommendations." This study proposes design suggestions for cultural and artistic
event platforms, including (1) Concise information architecture with a clear
hierarchical structure. (2) Optimize site-wide search with visually intuitive prompts.
(3) Appropriate tracking reminders, providing timely messages.
