題名：國中輔導工作執行秘書主觀的工作成功度調查

本研究著眼於國中輔導工作的評鑑。採用的是調查法。問卷於七十二年一月郵寄給全臺灣省、市、及縣、市的國中輔導工作執行祕書，共計626人。收回份數為534，佔85.3%。 它變項是執行祕書本人主觀的對輔導工作所感受的成功程度。所採用的量尺分為O至20等分。兩個極端被標明為「毫無成功的」及「非常成功的」。資料顯示，一般而言，執行祕書認為自己的工作為「普通的」或「中等的」成功 (平均數=11. 380，標準差=0.179)。 假設執行祕書主觀工作成功度的校內因素，包括六類特質：1. 輔導工作本身，2. 執行祕書本人，3. 直屬主管，4. 工作同仁，5. 學校，及6. 執行祕書所使用的計劃及控制技術。由逐步迴歸分析 (step-wise regression analysis) 計算出一個包含39個自變項的公式。此一迴歸公式達到.001的統計顯著水準。它能夠解釋51.456%的執行祕書主觀工作成功度的變異。其標準差為2.99592。最大的影響變項為「學校對輔導工作的經驗」。其變異數量為31.017%。其次是「工作同仁對工作目標之達成是否專心致志？」具有7.280 %的解釋程度。這兩者均不屬於執行祕書本人的條件，與赫之伯 (Herzberg，1972) 的雙因子工作滿意度理論不相符合。可能的解釋有三：1. 主觀的成功度與工作滿意度並非密切相關，2. 臺灣的文化狀況與美國不同，3. 工商業機關與教育機關性質不同。
This study focused on evaluation of guidance work in junior high schools in Taiwan. The adapted method, survey, sending questionaires by mail was conducted in Jannary 1983 to the entire population of 626 Chief counselors at junior high schools in Taiwan. Five hundred and thirty four returned, with a rate of 85.3% . The dependent variable in the study was the degree of perceived success of his work. Measuring was achieved by use of a 0 to 20 point scale. Two extreme points were lebled "not successful at all" and very successful" Generally speaking, data revealed that chief counselors perceived their work as "ordinary" or "middle" successful (mean=11.380, standard deviation=0.179 ). The hypothesized intraschool characteristics that affected the perceived success degree of guidance work iscluded the following six categories : 1) guidance work itself, 2) Chief counselor, 3) supervisor, 4) associates or sub-ordinates, 5) school environment, and 6) planning and controlling techniques used by chief counselor. By a step-wise regression analysis, an equation was calculated containing 39 independent variables. This equation was significant at .001 level. It explained 51.456% of the variance in the degree of success perceived by the chief counselors.The most influential variable was "guidance experience of school." It contributed 31.017% variance of the dependent variable. Next was "the committment of associates or subordiuates." It contributed 7.280% of the variance. Both were not of the chief counselor's characteristics. It differed, in its finding, with that of Herzberg ( 1972). It was possible that: 1) the subjectly perceived degree of work success was not closely correlated with that of job satisfaction, 2) Situation in Taiwan was not the same as that in the U.S., 3) Environment of business and industry differed from that of education.
