Designers use different instructional strategies which Come with variable structures to produce CAI coursewares. The purpose of this paper is to give six typical structures together with their respective examples in flowchart forms. These flowcharts. divided into structural flowchart and detail flowchart, explain how a courseware fullfills its teaching goals, teaching contents, and teaching sequences. Drawing a flowchart is much like constructing a house. which both structural and detail flowcharts are the framework of coursewares. As the correct structure is made, designers may continue their detail decorations such as screen-designing. wall-building, etc
