過去十年以來，可靠度的研究工作裡，出現了一個相當奇特的專題：n個組件中，若連續有k個損壞則系統損壞的所謂的C(k,n : F) 系統。這個題目吸引了不少專家投入，並且在相當程度上深刻的解析了串聯系統的可靠度計算及結構。本文就過去十年來的這些工作，作一回顧，並適切地報告各種角度的推廣。
A special topic called the consecutive-k-out-of-n: F system has caught the attention of many researchers in the last decade. The study of this system leads to further understaning on general series reliability systems. both in computation and in structure. We conduct a chronological survey of these works and their variations.
