本年度沿岸水質調查之結果，各站水質狀況大體上較去年好些(陳鎮東等，1990)。然而各聚落之污水水質仍不甚理想。尤其是409號橋、413號橋及414號橋之河道。為墾丁地區聚落排水道水質最差的三個地方;而這幾個河道又直接排入海水浴場(南灣、大灣)，對遊憩品質實為堪憂，應及早加以改善。

　　　　　In this year, results of the investigation of coastal waters in the Renting Areashowed that the water quality was better than the one of last year. But the waterquality of drainages was still bad, especially under the # 409, # 413, and # 415bridges where the water quality was the worst among all stations and, unfortunately,all of these sewage directly discharged into the beach. It is not good for the touristindustry and deserves our attention.
