The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of group counseling upon divorcees' Self-Concepts, Parents-Children Relations, and Divorce Adjustments. A pre-and-post test were used to test this one-group experimental design. Subjects were those of self-referral volunteered from Chunghua city. As a result, five of them were received ten-week group counseling. Test instruments were included as Tennessee SelfConcept Scale, Family Life Scale and Divorce Adjustment Scale. A t-test were used to analyze data obtained from repeated measurement. Moreover, group process recording, participants' oralreport, and writing feedback were used to complement and evaluate each individual participant's growth. Results were as follows; 1. Participants' subscale scores on Tennessee Self-Concept Scale's Personal Self, Identity, Behavior, and Total Positive had significant improvent (p<.05), while others had no effect. 2. The group counseling had effects on particiants' Parents-Children relations (p<.05). 3. After treatment, particpants were found had higher scores on Emotion and Feeling, and Global Divorce Adjustment compared with pre-test (p<.05), while others had no effect. Further suggestions of this study were included.
