　　　　　本文旨在探討電子出版品的特點及其所引發的問題。眾所週知，電子出版品將變 成很大眾化的傳播媒體。然而，在它被充份應用之前，有某些問題必須被廣泛地思考與討論 。例如它對圖書館服務有何影響﹖圖書館員在面對電子出版品的廣泛利用時，該如何調整自 己的角色。另外，當圖書館員期望電子出版品將有助於圖書館的服務時，讀者的態度將會如 何﹖是接受﹖還是抗拒﹖這些問題都是本文所企圖所要了解的。
　　　　　This article tries to identify the features of electronic publishing and the problems it brings. No the doubt that the electronic publishing is becoming a popular communication media. However, before it can be fully implemented, there are still many problems have to be considered. For instance, how does it affect the library services ﹖ Also, when confronting with this media, how should librarians adjust their role ﹖ Moreover, when librarians hope this new technology will improve library services, will users accept or resist it ﹖ These are the problems that this article intends to investigate.
