　　　　　兒童發展的研究提供幼教者一個全人發展的教育理念與方向，唯有從兒童發展的階段性，去掌握其普遍和個別化的特徵，才能使幼教的課程、教材、方法、師資和環境，多方面配合得宜，充分而有效地提供幼童一個適性的成長空間，奠定以後全人發展的基礎。面對國內幼教需求蓬勃發展的社會趨勢，教育當局宜及早作前瞻性的規畫，以免積重難返，事倍功半。
