近年來由於環境品質的日益惡化,各國政府、工業界與學術界,均非常重視一門新興的學問-風險評估,作為對危險物質 (包括致癌物質) 管理之決策。本研究之目的,係利用風險評估之原理,探討利用動物的數據,來定量推估人類所能承受之風險,並列舉實倒說明致癌混合物質環境標準之訂定,而此亦可推廣為其他毒性物質環境標準之設定。
The purpose of this article is to discuss the procedures and issues of quanti­tative estimation of human risk using animal bioassay data. Attention is given to the method involved in extrapolating from high experimental dose levels to low environmental exposure levels. Also, an example of quantitative estimation of joint risk from a mixture of hexachlorobenzene and chlorobenzene is given.
