　　　　　知識應用(Knowledge Utilization, KU)是公共政策領域中，一項新發展的研究重點，其研究約主要目的在瞭解公部門和私部門的決策過程中，如何應用科學的專業知識，來改善政策品質及提升行政績效。此領域的出現，反映出當代社會對知識與學術研究重要性的覺醒。目前關於知識應用的研究在農業、心理健康及教有等領域已佔有一席之地。本文將介紹此一新興研究領域的研究主題、發展歷史、主要的研究方法與測量方式、目前已累積的研究成果、此領域出現的爭議與共識及未來研究方向等，希望對國內「知識應用」的研究，貢獻一己之力。
　　　　　Knowledge Utilization is an emergent field in the Public Policy. The focus of the field is concerned with understanding the utilization of scientific and professionalknowledge to improve the decision making process of both public and private sectors. In this paper, the author tried to present the major issues, origins, history,research approachs, literature review, consensus, controversy and opportunity ofthis emergent field. The main purpose of the paper is to encourage the study of Knowledge Utilization in Taiwan.
