　　　　　本文旨在探討台灣省視覺障礙教育的發展，並管窺視覺障礙教育現存之 問題。首先探討視覺障礙教育之起源，其次闡述政府遷台前後之視覺礙障教育的 演變，最後就啟明學校與視覺障礙混合教育計畫兩種不同的教育安置方式，提出 現存的問題，以供有關單位推展視覺障礙教育之參考。
　　　　　The purpose of the study was intended to explore thedevelopment of visual impairment education and to analyzethe issues at current state in Taiwan. The content of the paper was were as follows :1. To discribe the origins of visual impairment education.2. To explore the development of visual impairment education in Taiwan.3. To analyze the issues at current state. Finally, the program of integrated education is also dicussed.
