為了培養具備「學科專長」之工商圖書館員，圖書館學校可採行之措施 如:開設工商知識相關課程，鼓勵學生修讀輔系或雙主修，招收具有工商學科背 景的學生等。惟在強調學科專長之餘，訓練學生具備得以在任何資訊環境工作之 圖書館學專業能力，還是最重要的。

　　　　　For the sake of strenthening subject specialty of business librarians, libraryschools take such steps as offering business-related courses, encouraging or requiringstudents to take related minors or duel majors, and trying to get students alreadytrained with related subject background. Nevertheless, the emphasis for libraryeducation should still be put on preparing students with the capability of playing asatisfactory professional role in whatever circumstances and environments encountered.
