　　　　　There are many professional services in today's society. These professional services must be trusted by all people. professional ethics is a promise and gurarantee of professional services. This article is a prime study of the meaning and content of library professional ethics. There are five principles which can be applied to library services, including the accessibility, privacy and confidentiality, completeness, competence, and integrity.
