There have been many advances in the treatment of cancer recently, but due to immunocompromised patients, serious infections continue to be a major source of morbidity and mortality. The patient may contract neutropenia as a result of chemotherapy, radiotherapy or other underlying diseases. Neutropenia is the most important factor, caused by infection of the cancer patient. It is regarded as an emergency situation requiring immediate action. If not detected early, infection will lead to sepsis and high mortality. The early symptoms of infection are not easily detected, but good guidelines for prevention and intervention will provide us with better information to control the early infection problem.
