　　　　　本文主題是本土經濟學者在國際期刊的學術表現。具體內容有二：一是彙整，主要針對臺大經濟系、中研院社科所及經濟所三個單位；另一是試圖評估。主要蒐集資料包括發表篇數、頁數及每篇論文被引用的次數（Citation）。
　　　　　This paper attempts to analyze one of vital performances of an economic institute in Taiwan-the performance ininternational economic journals. We study three institutes only including department of Economics, National Taiwan University, Institute of Economics and Sun Yat-sen Institute for social Science and Philosophy, both at Academia Sinica mainly because they are "elder" ones. Data include the number of paper published, the number of pages, and citation index recorded in social Science Citation Index.
