     本研究係以問卷調查方式探討78至80學年度中部地區輕度智能不足者國中畢業後升學或就業的動向。所研究之工具為自編之「國中畢業生動向調查表」,其內容包括目前是否就業?工作薪資多少?工作多久?何時╱如何獲得此份工作?與同事╱老闆相處如何?等問題。研究樣本為162人,但實際寄回問卷之人數為68份。 研究的主要結果有: (1) 目前有工作者佔59.1%,曾經有工作,但目前沒有者佔20.5%,一直沒有工作者佔9.1%。 (2) 工作類別達30幾種之多,其中以作業員居多。 (3) 每月工作薪資以12000元以下人數最多,工作時數以8小時以上者居多。 (4) 工作年資以不到一年者居多。 (5) 工作取得方式以家長或親戚介紹為最多,但無人由職訓單位介紹取得。 (6) 若有職訓機會均想參加,而對於升學機會則可有可無。
     The purposes of this study were to investigate the current status of mildly retarded students graduated from junior high school in 1989-1991 school years. A questionnaire developed by the researchers was sent to 162 mildly retarded. Totally 68 students answered the questionnaire. The main results of this study included: 1. 59.1% students currently had job, 20.5% students had been employed and 9.1% students never got a job. 2. there were more than 30 kinds of job they had, most of them worked as assembler in the factory. 3. most of their salary were under NT$12,000 per month and their working hours were longer than 8 hours. 4. most of their working experience was no more than one years. 5. they got the job mostly through the help of their parents and/or relatives, and none of them were helped through the government. 6. they showed great interest in attending job training programs, but no great interest in attending senior high school.
