人力資源管理在企業界實施已近百年之久，但圖書館此方面的探討，則是晚近之 事，本文之目的，在簡述人力資源管理的意義、要素、範圍及主要理論，並對圖書館人力之 規劃、獲得、維護及發展提出初步之分析。

　　　　　Human resource management has been put into practice in the field of enterprises for nearly a hundred years while the libries began to pay attention to this respect quite recently. The purpose of this essay is to briefly describle the significance, the factors, the scope and the theories of the human resource management and also to make basic suggestions on the recruitment plans and the development of the library human resource.
