國內已自民國八十年十二月起連線使用國際網際網路（Internet），由於網路上 蘊藏著許多豐富的資源，致使各界對網路的使用趨之若鶩。但是由於網路資源未經有效的整 理，使得網路用者無法適時、適地找出所需的資源，間接妨礙網路的推廣使用。即使網路現 有的蒐尋工具一再推陳出新（如 Archie、 Gopher、 Wide Area Information Server、 World-Wide Web ），卻無法徹底解決此一難題。 基於此種情形下，美國圖書館界遂提出以 美國機讀編目格式與英美編目規則為基礎，嘗試整理網路上現存的各項電子文獻。因而，相 關研究計畫亦陸續展開。而本文即試從圖書館編目作業為起始點，依序以網路化文獻的定義 、圖書館整理網路化文獻的目的、相關研究計畫、整理網路化文獻的作業規範與實際作業遭 遇的困難等五方面，一一說明、介紹圖書館界在整理網路化文獻的現況與成果。

　　　　　By the established connection between TANet and Internet on December 1991, so the users in Taiwan can use many networked resources on Internet domain. Due to the irreasonable organization of these resources, the users can't find the right one at the right time. Though there are many Internet tools exist here, they can't sovle this embarrassing problem, for example likes Archie, Gopher, Wide Area Information Server and World-Wide Web. So the American libraries try to organize these resources by applying with UFBD and AACRII to solving this existing problem. This article is a brief introduction to the current status and result of the libraries organize the networked resources from definition of electronic documents, goals of the library prepares to archieve to, the related research projects, the standards of organizing resources and the core problems of the process of organization, etc.
