本文針對目前國際上文獻計量學的爭議而發表個人見解。首先簡要的回顧了文獻計量學的發展歷史，枚舉了中外關於文獻計量學的種種定義和觀點，討論了B. C. Brookes以資訊計量學（Informetrics）來替代文獻計量學（Bibliometrics）的學衛主張。簡單地闡明了文獻計量學、科學計量學、資訊計量學的學術界限以及三者之間的關係。最後指出，目前令文獻計量學完全退出學術陣地的條件還不充份。

Author's personal opinion on international dispute in bibliometrics thus for is presented in this paper. To start with, a simplified review of the historical development of biblimoetrics is provided. In addition, there are many internal and international ideas and definitions of bibliometrics that the author lists. Third we discuss B. C, Brookes' opinion that informetrics will replace bibliometrics. What is more, the limit and relation between bibliometrics, scientometrics and informetrics are briefly elucidated. Finally, author indicates that the postulate is not enough which bibliometrics will completely withdraw from the research front.
